Twin Lakes builds boathouses to order. The company puts it this way: customized boathouse design and construction features that meet the customer's needs, with Burwell sitting down with each owner to put the plan together. The finished work around the lake shows how different those plans end up: single and double slips, shingled hip roofs, white and blue metal roofs, rooms at the shore end, sundecks on top.

Your slip, your roof height

Rooms, decks and stairs

Shingle or metal roofs
Shingled hip roofs are the most common in the job posts. Finished work also shows white and blue metal roofs.
Lifts in before electrical
Boat lifts go into the slip once the roof is on, and the job is marked ready for electrical.
Built through the year
Piles went in on January 12 for a winter build that had its roof by February 19, 2026.
